I have the day off so I'm at home working on a few personal projects. Ava just wandered into my office, collapsed on her bed and proceeded to snore. Loudly. A delicate flower, that one.

Have an awesome breakfast thingie in the oven made with beautiful eggs and some of the world's best bacon. Saved the grease, as I have plans for it later. Maybe I'll fry some polenta in it... or perhaps make a vinaigrette for a dark green salad.

So Ava the boisterous Great Pyrenees was trying to get Felix the dignified tuxedo cat to play. Felix started to romp but then he noticed I was watching and got all "Noooo! You're a dog!" Poor Ava. She looked so dejected.

Sounds like the perfect holiday to me!
